Là hàng lẻ được một công ty logistics gom lại, đóng container rồi đặt tàu riêng.
👉 Bên gom nhận vận đơn chủ (Master B/L) từ hãng tàu
👉 Họ phát hành House B/L cho từng chủ hàng
👉 Consolidator là Shipper chính thức và sẽ thu phí từ từng người gửi

A new week begins time to stay sharp with every shipping decision. Especially if you frequently ship small loads (not enough to fill a container), then LCL and Consol are two terms you must understand clearly to avoid mistakes in freight charges, customs procedures, and delivery timelines.
🚢 LCL SHIPMENT – Consolidated and transported by the shipping line
This refers to loose cargo that the shipping line collects from multiple shippers and consolidates into a single container at a CFS (Container Freight Station).
👉 Each shipper receives a separate Bill of Lading from the shipping line
👉 The shipping line is responsible for the entire transport process
👉 Freight charges are calculated directly for each shipper
However, not all routes have LCL service directly from the carrier — in such cases, a professional consolidator may step in to handle the job.
📦 CONSOL SHIPMENT – Consolidated by a third party, transported by the shipping line
This refers to loose cargo consolidated by a logistics company, which then books space with a carrier.
👉 The consolidator receives a Master Bill of Lading from the shipping line
👉 They issue a House Bill of Lading to each shipper
👉 The consolidator is the official shipper and charges individual clients accordingly
